Entertainment Weekly has reported that Jackson Rathbone will have a potential recurring role in ABC’s No Ordinary Family. Jackson will star as Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker who plays telepathic Daphne.

His character is described as a recent victim of a home invasion robbery and the storyline might go with Daphne helping him out.

During last Sunday’s Primetime Emmy Awards 2010, Rami Malik has confirmed that he has been cast in the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2″. Malik will play Benjamin of the Egyptian Coven who has the powers to influence air, water and fire.

“I think it’s going to be great,” said Malek. “It’s going to be super exciting and I’m thrilled,”

Playing Egyptian is nothing new to Rami as he has played an Egyptian Pharaoh before at the Night at the Museum 2: Battle at the Smithsonian.

MTV was bale to interview Melissa at the red carpet and she talked about writing the script for Breaking Dawn with Director Bill Condon.

“They’re coming along,” Rosenberg said. “I just flew in last night from working with ['Dawn' director] Bill Condon, prepping the scripts. It’s a lot of work, I’m exhausted,” she added. Rosenberg also revealed that she’s between 75 and 80 percent finished with the two screenplays. “But we’re intent on making them the best scripts yet.”

“The final battle sequence is a big challenge because it lasts 25 pages,” Rosenberg told us. “It’s almost an entire three-act story in and of itself. You have to track (kept all in one setting) hundreds of characters. It’s an enormous challenge to choreograph on the page and for Bill to choreograph on the stage.”

Yesterday, rumors hit the internet that Robert Pattinson is set to star with Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie.This is due to reports that Angelina is developing a film based on a BBC miniseries called Unforgiven, where she is set to play a woman being targeted upon by vengeful sons. Robert is rumored to be attached to be playing one of the sons.

“There’s speculation in the wind that Robert Pattinson has been tapped for this project,” reports Lainey Gossip. The actor met late last year with Jolie attorney Robert Offer, observes the site, “so his recent trip to see [her movie] Salt with his agent is suddenly rife with new possibility.”

However, according to Gossip Cop, there is no truth to Robert’s attachment to the project.

A Pattinson insider tells Gossip Cop that rumors connecting him to the film are inaccurate.

“All of them,” she said. “I love Taylor [Lautner] so much, and I’m so proud of him and what he’s doing. He’s making a great movie in Pittsburgh right now,” she said, referring to the John Singleton-directed action thriller “Abduction.”

“I’m excited about Rob [Pattinson]‘s movie ‘Water for Elephants,’ ” she added. “I think he’s going to be phenomenal in that, and Kristen [Stewart] is doing an amazing film ['On the Road']. Elizabeth Reaser just did a movie called ‘Homework’ with Michael Angarano, who’s a really good friend of mine, and Emma Roberts that I’m excited about.”

Reed and her co-stars have so many projects going that she was hard-pressed to remember everyone’s work schedule. “We all root for each other,” she said.

“Would I ever! Jackson and I are on the phone every other day, because we’re trying to find a movie to do together. I forgot to mention him — his band is skyrocketing. It’s amazing,” she gushed. “I would be honored. I don’t want to take the position: ‘Would I ever.’ If he would ever let me, yeah. I love them.”

The Summer movie season is almost to its end and Forbes Magazine has listed down the Top 5 Movies of the Summer.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse placed third with a total cum of $650 million worldwide.Expectations were high on the third installment but it failed to top its predecessor, New Moon.

Expectations were high for the Summit Entertainment release “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” It took in a respectable $650 million, but it failed to out-earn its predecessor in the Twilight series, “New Moon,” which brought in $710 million at the box office last fall. Summit has set the release dates for the next two films for November of 2011 and November 2012.
