Eclipse cast to surprise fans this weekend

According to Deadline Hollywood, the Eclipse cast will be visiting selected cinemas on July 2 – 4, to surprise fans and to thank them for the support that they have been giving to the franchise.

The TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE stars will be visiting theaters across the U.S. to introduce the latest film in the franchise now shattering box office records. Beginning Friday July 2nd and extending through the holiday weekend, approximately 20 cast members will be popping up in theaters all over the country “to show their appreciation for their fans, and thanking them for all of the excitement, enthusiasm and support they have shown,” Summit Entertainment said.

Ashley, Peter and Nikki attend Young Hollywood Awards

Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene were some of the awardees at the recently concluded Young Hollywood Awards. As posted before, Ashley was awarded as the Most Stylish while Nikki was awarded the Young Hollywood Superstar in the Making. Twilight cast mate Peter Facinelli was also on hand for the festivities.

Nikki was also interviewed by MTV at the red carpet about New Moon’s nomination for the MTV Movie Awards.

“I mean, it’s wonderful — [especially] when you make a movie and you have absolutely zero expectations,” she told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. Reed added that the cast had no idea that the “Twilight” phenomenon would resonate so strongly and passionately with their fans.

“When we made ‘Twilight,’ none of us knew what it was going to become. There’s inevitably a certain amount of pressure going back,” she continued. “You want to make sure the second one is just as good, so I guess we’re all really happy and relieved. All the actors love the books and the movies just as much as the fans.”‘

She also said that she cant comment about the salary rumors that is hitting the franchise right now.

“I can’t comment on my business affairs, sorry. I can’t comment on other people, either,” she said, but did add she had yet to speak to “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon. “I haven’t, but I’m looking forward to it.”
