Eclipse: Moviefone’s End of Summer Poll

Moviefone has posted a poll regarding the End of Summer Movies. Which movies has made your summer worth it and which deserves an award? Eclipse places third in the Summer movie Season

The Summer movie season is almost to its end and Forbes Magazine has listed down the Top 5 Movies of the Summer.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse placed third with a total cum of $650 million worldwide.Expectations were high on the third installment but it failed to top its predecessor, New Moon.

Expectations were high for the Summit Entertainment release “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” It took in a respectable $650 million, but it failed to out-earn its predecessor in the Twilight series, “New Moon,” which brought in $710 million at the box office last fall. Summit has set the release dates for the next two films for November of 2011 and November 2012.

Eclipse DVD to be released on November 1, 2010?

Flixter has posted news in their website on the possible release date of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD. According to the site, the DVD will be released on November 1, 2010.

BTS Video: the making of Metric’s Eclipse (All Yours)

Spinner.com has posted a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of Metric’s music video, Eclipse (All Yours). The song is the band’s contribution to the Eclipse soundtrack and is the second single off the album.

According to front woman Emily Haines,

“[Shore] was like, ‘What I’m attracted to is Metric, but it’s not about it representing Metric,” the frontwoman says in the following clip. “It’s about you embodying the voice of Bella.”

“Kristen Stewart is a really good actress and I feel like Bella’s a really important character for young women,” Haines previously told Spinner. “She’s not a stupid girl. It’s one of the most insightful portraits that I’ve ever seen of what it really is like to be a young woman and deal with the kaleidoscope of emotions that you go through on a daily basis.”
