Twilight actors spotted in several events

Several Twilight actors were spotted in several events this week as Hollywood gears up for the Academy Awards this Sunday.

Rachelle Lefevre was seen attending the 25th Independent Spirit Awards last Friday. As we have posted before, she has also attended the Annual Women in Hollywood Party.

Booboo Stewart was seen this week stepping out at the gifting suites in Los Angeles. He was seen attending the Suite Relief Pre-Oscar Gifting Suite hosted by Silver Spoon held at the Interior Illusion and at the Eco Oscars Lounge gift give away event.

Anna Kendrick on the other hand was seen attending the Louis Vuitton and Glamour Party to celebrate the “Most Glamorous” issue held at Beverly Hills. She also attended the Art of Elysium “Pieces of Heaven” presented by Vanity Fair and BMW.

Rachelle Lafevre joins Untitled Medical Drama

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rachelle Lefevre has joined a CBC’s untitled medical drama from producer John Wells. The project is about a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S. helping those in desperate need of assistance.

Rachelle’s character is Katy, a smart and confident medical road warrior who is more comfortable working in the field than in the office.

Rachelle adopts two dogs

After loosing her beloved dog, Honey last December, Rachelle Lafevre has adopted two new dogs. Rachelle and boyfriend, Jamie Thomas King have adopted ‘Momma Bear’ and ‘Jack Sprat’ from the Baldwin Park, a Los Angeles-area high-kill shelter.

“They were both on the ‘at risk’ list,” Lefevre tells PEOPLEPets.com. “If no one rescued them within the week they were going to be put down.” In an instant, cocker spaniel Momma Bear and miniature poodle Jack Sprat were given a second chance at life.

“Jamie and I miss her every day and still talk about her all the time,” she says. “When you take on the responsibility of an animal you know that if nature goes according to plan, then most likely you will outlive them — it’s just part of the deal.”

They were so dirty and Momma Bear’s coat was a mess,” she says. “After baths and haircuts they were so much happier and more comfortable, so bonding was easier.”

Now, the pups are settling well into their new home. “We haven’t experienced a single moment of aggression from them,” Lefevre boasts. “They follow us into every room like, ‘Now what are we doing?’ It’s amazing!”

Rachelle Lefevre grieves for Honey

Sad news today as Rachelle Lefevre informed fans through her twitter account that her beloved dog, Honey, died two days ago. Rachelle has tweeted before that Honey was quite sick and was worried for her health.

Rachelle and her boyfriend have adopted Honey from a rescue organization, a cause that Rachelle has supported. Our hearts go out to Rachelle, who has lost a very important part of her family.

Rachelle Lefevre does Gotham Magazine

Rachelle Lefevre strikes a pose for Gotham Magazine. The Twilight actress wore colorful dresses as she talked about her life as an actress and getting her retail therapy. Here is an excerpt of her interview.

“When I first got to LA, everybody said I was too ‘girl-next-door’ for edgier roles,” she says. “I ended up playing a stripper, an escort, a vampire and an off-her-rocker troubled poet. I keep playing roles that are not even close to the girl next door.”

While Lefevre’s upcoming projects will certainly keep her from being typecast, they also give the actress a chance to walk a mile in some very different shoes. In Barney’s Version, she plays the manic-depressive, hippie-poet first wife of costar Paul Giamatti. In Casino Jack, she’s a Washington, DC, power player (opposite Kevin Spacey and Jon Lovitz), a character that’s based on real life press secretary Emily Miller.

“We’d gotten the suits together and [when we went] shopping for shoes, I bought these intensely spiky Fendi and Christian Dior stilettos,” says Lefevre. “I felt she was a little bit ‘vanity first,’ and it helped me find her as a character. And I do that without judgment— depending on how you grow up and the circles you move in, you value different things, and I saw her as valuing really good heels.”

When she’s not on set, the 30-year-old Montreal native prefers J Brand jeans, tees, boots, blazers and a signature piece of chunky jewelry. Her last fashion splurge: a gray patent leather Chloé Eloise bag. And while she’ll also cop to Balmain and Stella McCartney obsessions, it’s at New York City’s myriad vintage stores, including Cadillac’s Castle and Zachary’s Smile, that she gets her best retail therapy.
