Hundreds of fans were on hand to greet the stars as they cheered and took pictures with the cast.Some of them though expressed their disappointment of the main trio not showing up in the premiere. In a video message to the fans, Kristen Stewart talked about why they were not there.

We don’t get to choose where we go. We’re told which premieres we are attending. We don’t have a say in it. There is nothing we can do.’

Anna Kendrick supported this statement saying that they dont get to choose which places they have to visit.

‘It’s not like I was asked to come to the UK premiere. I think it’s a crazy, crazy press tour so they just put a couple of the major characters through that kind of whirlwind. Nobody’s snubbing anybody but certainly it’s not like, “I choose not to turn up” or something.’

Fansite Friday has an exclusive interview with BooBoo Stewart, who plays the young werewolf Seth in Eclipse. Here is a preview of his interview:

Q: I just wanted to ask you a quick question about your stunt work in Eclipse. Can you tell us a little bit about whether you did stunt work and if so what types of stunts?
BooBoo: You know I can’t really say too much about like if I did stunt work on the film. But hopefully in the future ones I’ll get to fight more as a human. That’d be awesome, you know?

Q: Seth and Leah are pretty close in the Twilight Saga, did you and Julia do anything special to bond before filming since you’re (characters) brother and sister?
BooBoo: You know we didn’t really bond before filming. We actually didn’t have a chance to. When I got on set she was super nice and we rode with each other on the way to set actually. She’s a really, really cool person and she’s a really nice girl. And I’ve actually seen her since, she’s still exactly the same – really nice.

Q: In the movie and books, he (Seth) looks up to Jacob a lot as his mentor. You being one of the newer members of the wolf pack on the film, did you have any actor in real life on the set that you looked up to?
Booboo: No, I think it’s amazing being involved with that caliber of actors. They’re just so amazing and everyone on set was extremely nice. From the moment I got there, they all introduced themselves to me and in-between the takes Kristen came over and introduced herself to me and she was really nice. Just really amazing people to work with and I had a great time.

Q: Have you at all seen any concept art or anything for your wolf CG form yet for the film?
BooBoo: Oooh, seen any concept or art for my wolf for the film? Not yet. (laughs) But I would love to, I mean that would be awesome.

Q: You talked briefly about bonding with Julia, and since you guys were kind of the new kids on the block in this film; did it take some time for you to bond with the rest of the cast? And how did that go for you?
BooBoo: Oh not at all. When I was doing my scene everyone was just so cool and you just felt at home when you got there. Everyone was just really nice. Kristen and Taylor were especially really nice to me and you know it was just really cool. Just being on set makes me feel happy and, like, you know – yeah going to do a movie and seeing it all come together, and get it on the big screen, and it just feels good.

Q: If you can’t talk about stunt work, I know that you and Taylor have martial arts experience/ background together and I was wondering if you guys ever just kind of hit the dojo together after shooting for fun?
Booboo: Actually, not while we were shooting, but one time I was doing a … what was it… a photo shoot for a magazine called Kono Magazine and he was there and that’s when he got done doing the first Twilight; and we got to see each other and hang out and do some flips on the mat and stuff, so there we did.

Q: Can you tell us what the fans should expect from Seth?
BooBoo: Oooh, what fans should expect from Seth… I think exactly what you read in the book. I’m working really hard to play the role exactly how you guys are reading it in the book and I think you guys are going to enjoy it. I hope so. (laughs) If not, then that’s bad!

The Chicago Sun Times were able to interview Tyson Houseman, Jodelle Ferland and BooBoo Stewart who play Quil, Bree and Seth in the third Twilight film, Eclipse. They talked about getting involved in the franchise as well reading the books, securing their roles and many more Here is an excerpt:

Q. Jodelle, tell us about Stephenie Meyer’s new book about your character, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, coming out Saturday.

JODELLE: I had read the book before I started filming “Eclipse” so that I could understand Bree better and what she went through before she came to what she was in Eclipse. … It’s her back story, so you’ll find out about her, but I can’t tell you much.

Q. Is it true you had to read it under really tight security?

JODELLE: I read it and there’s somebody watching me. It’s not that they don’t trust me, but they just want to, you know, take all the precautions they can. … After I read it, we were supposed to get rid of it, and we didn’t really know how to do that. [We] put it in a bucket. We threw a match in and we burnt it, and then we took a video and a picture and we sent it to Stephenie Meyer. It was so funny.

Q. You’re a new addition to the franchise. How did Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the others actors welcome you?

JODELLE: It’s always the little things that count, like saying “hi” to me, or saying “Oh, come sit over here, you look lonely.” You know, all those little things that I really appreciated because it made me feel more welcome. … They’re all really nice people.

Q. What’s the fan pressure like for Robert, Kristen and Taylor?

TYSON:You get fan encounters of the craziest kind, but it’s still, they are what drives this whole series, and they are what makes “Twilight” what it is, so it’s really cool to have that at the same time.

Q. BooBoo, what happened when you were punched at a fan event in Vancouver?

BOOBOO: It was messed up. One, another kid on a dare decided to hit me. I wasn’t hurt but … he was held until the police came. Then I went back, and [continued] greeting the fans.

Q. What’s really cool about “Eclipse”?

TYSON: There’s going to be a lot more action. … There’s a very climactic fight scene. There’s an entire war at the end of the movie, and I think it’s going to be a lot more guy-friendly.

Q. So guys will want to come with their girlfriends?

TYSON: Definitely. … Another thing that’s really, really cool … you get a lot of really cool background stories, like with the Quileutes [the wolfpack's Native American tribe]. And with the other vampires, too, like, you get to learn about the history, about who they are.

Q. For “Eclipse,” Bryce Dallas Howard replaces Rachelle Lefevre as the vengeance-seeking vampire Victoria. What can you tell us about her?

TYSON: She does a great portrayal of the character. I accidentally walked into her on set one day, and it terrified me. I walked around the corner and there she was, and she was in full make-up and everything, and I got so scared. … She was really, really intense.”

BooBoo, 16, said that in Eclipse, Clearwater “helps defeat Riley, which is really the strong newborn vampire … and the big battle in the end, which is awesome – I get to rip someone’s arm off.”

Rachelle Lefevre was seen attending the 25th Independent Spirit Awards last Friday. As we have posted before, she has also attended the Annual Women in Hollywood Party.

Booboo Stewart was seen this week stepping out at the gifting suites in Los Angeles. He was seen attending the Suite Relief Pre-Oscar Gifting Suite hosted by Silver Spoon held at the Interior Illusion and at the Eco Oscars Lounge gift give away event.

Anna Kendrick on the other hand was seen attending the Louis Vuitton and Glamour Party to celebrate the “Most Glamorous” issue held at Beverly Hills. She also attended the Art of Elysium “Pieces of Heaven” presented by Vanity Fair and BMW.
