PVR to release Twilight Series in India

The Twilight Saga is finally coming to India.

Last year, Twilight Indian fans were saddened when the first Twilight film wasnt released in their country and had to contend themselves watching the movie through DVD’s and the internet. Now, the Indian Times has confirmed that Mumbai-based PVR pictures will distribute the Twilight Saga in India.

Fans will be able to see Twilight at the cinemas on Nov. 20 and New Moon, two weeks after on December 4. According to PVR Pictures CEO UdayS ingh, they are happy to bring New Moon to India.

“Bagging this deal is definitely prestigious as Summit was also in talks with Sony and Warner. So, I am proud that they have found a home with us,” said PVR Pictures CEO Uday Singh.

PVR is releasing the first movie in only 50 screens while the sequel will go with 150 odd prints in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.

    hey its a great news that india is promoting the Twilight saga.
    but as per the stamtement that pvr is going to play twilight on november 20th, this hasnt proved true as in until now
    i hope that they play new moon no matte what bcz all new moon fans have been desperattely waiting for it. also i had a question if it is going to be played in ludhiana pvr.
