Nikki Reed: The Vanity Fair Interview

Nikki Reed participated in Vanity Fair’s Twlight Watch where she talked about the success of the first film, getting recognized in the street, the fans and many more. Here is an excerpt:

What in your life has changed the most since Twilight came out?

The biggest change is that people recognize me now. Before Twilight, occasionally I would get the “Hey are you that girl from that movie?” but no one knew my first and last name. The fans of the saga are amazing, and it’s very flattering.

How did filming New Moon differ from Twilight?

We were all friends when we headed up to Vancouver to shoot New Moon. There was an obvious closeness that became apparent towards the end of Twilight.

Did anything change in the way that you interact as a cast from one film to the other?

Yeah, we used to have a lot of group dinners.

Do you or the Cullen actors have a ritual or anything you do to prepare or rev you up before shooting a scene?

We don’t really have a “getting into character ritual,” unless you count constant joking around and chaos.
