New Moon breaks records in UK

New Moon is breaking records.

A few days ago, we have posted news that New Moon has broken advance ticket sales in the US and Canada, there are now reports that film has also broken advance ticket sales in the UK.

According to Odeon and UCI Cinemas, the film has taken more than £1 million before it has even been released becoming the fastest advance-selling film of the year. It has reached the £1 million mark in a month, shifting more than 143,000 tickets.

Rupert Gavin, CEO of Odeon and UCI Cinemas Group said: “With the huge excitement and hype surrounding the imminent arrival of New Moon, we have seen an unprecedented level of advance ticket sales.

“We have no doubt that the film will continue to build on the success of Twilight by captivating film fans of all ages.“
