Hearthrob smackdown: Leo vs Robert

When Titanic was released, women around the world were captivated by its leading man, Leonardro DiCaprio, who was then catapulted to superstar status and gave birth to Leo Mania. The actor was suddenly everywhere and his every movie was scrutinized and captured.

Fastforward to 2009 and its the same time again but this time the object of obsession is the Brit actor Robert Pattinson, who set hearts a flutter when took on the role of vampire Edward Cullen. As the young Brit hit the pinnacle of success, is the hysteria around him equaled Leo’s? Will he be as successful as the American actor who has successfully survived the fan hysteria around him.
