Summit: No plans yet for fifth Twilight movie

Yesterday, Booboo Stewart announced in an interview with Access Hollywood has mentioned that he has signed up for three more Twilight movies. This has excited fans as this would mean that there might be plans for a fifth Twilight movie, which be “Midnight Sun”, Twilight told from the perspective of Edward Cullen.

But Summit was quick to put a stop to these rumors claiming that there has been no plans for a fifth Twilight film as of yet.

“We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate,” the Summit rep said in a statement to Access.

Summit would also not confirm if Breaking Dawn is making into the big screen although Hollywood insiders are saying that it would be most likely to be adapted.

“However, the fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring ‘Breaking Dawn’ to the big screen,” the rep continued.
