Much has been said and posted regarding the romance rumors between Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Gossip sites Lainey Gossip and Ted Casablanca had been going on about the apprent non and existence of romance between two (Lainey is saying that there is no truth to it and says that Kristen is still happy with her boyfriend while Ted says there is something brewing between the two)

In a sneak peak sent by Entertainment Weekly about the second part of their New Moon special, Robert apparently denied the swirling rumors.

“It becomes a joke,” the dreamy-eyed Brit tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview slated to air on Friday. “There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine… You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It’s really bizarre.”

In an interview with The Independent UK, Rob has flat out denied his rumored romance with Kristen.

Is there any truth to the persistent rumour hooking him up with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart? “Er, no,” he states. “I don’t understand where that even comes from.”

However, Ted has updated his blog again where he said that the statement made by Rob in Entertainment Tonight didnt necessaily denied his “romance” with Kristen. Here is an excerpt:

There’s a good reason why a Robsten romance is being kept on the DL, or being told to not happen at all. Can you imagine what fans would think if Robsten went public and then broke up?

All Twilight hell would break loose because their favorite onscreen couple would no longer be just that in real life. Or, Mormon-God forbid, what if there was a real nasty split between K and R and they wouldn’t even want to work together in future Twilight films. If I were a suit, I would be concerned too. But we’re not, so make Robsten happen!
